The best part of being a Moore County Family Photographer is getting to know deeply all the families, moms, dads, and grandparents, newborns....and dogs (!) that I get to meet with each session. But in all my excitement to get to know you, I realize that you may want to know more about me too! I'm Lolly Nazario, your Pinehurst + Southern Pines area photographer who specializes in newborn and family photography, but most importantly I hope that my time with you is more than just photography. I hope that you feel seen and heard and that I use my skills to authentically capture what matters most to you in your season of life.
Prior to photography, I was a counselor for both college athletes and college students, helping students navigate new waters in their higher education experience, while uncovering the challenges of time management and personal development. I've been lucky enough to work for a number of successful universities and athletic teams. I may be the only photographer with a bowl ring. True story!
I feel in love with my n0w husband in the gorgeous city of Charleston, SC, a city that inspired my artistic journey with every street and season. My husband is active duty Air Force and I am very familiar with the joys of working with military families, documenting both family sessions, retirement ceremonies, homecomings and promotions! I love being connected with the military communicate here at Ft. Bragg, and my role as a military spouse, though unexpected, is one of the biggest blessings of my life. We are strong families with incredible character.
When I am not chasing your kids around you'll find me chasing my own! As a mom to a 5 year old and 2.5 year old girl I am well-versed in the world of toddlerhood! My small business allows me to remain active and present in the most important role I'l ever have: mommy. I schedule my sessions around my children's school and nap times, as well as my husband's work untraditional schedule, allowing me to capture your biggest moments and then be present for ours too! I am grateful that the families I work with help me nurture this dream!
A native of Winston-Salem, NC I attended Wake Forest University for both undergraduate and graduate school and I am a die-hard Deacon fan at my core. You'll find me petting any dog I see (double pets for Golden Retrievers), dreaming of ice cream (Chocolate Peanut Butter pleasE), and listening to 2000's pop music ('NSYNC) when I am not working and editing. Like most folks, I enjoy the beach and sleeping late and get to do neither of those things as often as I wish.
I understand that getting your photos taken can be an intimidating feeling and I work hard to use all my personal and technical skills to get you enjoying everything about your photo experience, start to finish!
